Scheme Registration
1.1
All retailers wishing
to participate in the Shades Star Rewards Scheme must meet the following eligibility
criteria;
a.
The retailer must have a valid email address and access to the internet
in order to register and receive scheme updates.
b.
Any individual participants
must be resident in the
UK
.
1.2
In order to register for the Shades Star Rewards
Scheme the online registration must be completed in full. A registration email will
then be sent to the email address nominated by the retailer providing details of
the log in and password.
1.3
By registering for the Shades Star Rewards Scheme the
retailer is agreeing to the terms and conditions of the scheme which are stated
here and incorporated with all other documentation, website information or marketing
materials related to the scheme which may be distributed from time to time and any
amendments to the terms and conditions which may be issued.
2.0
Eligible Purchases
2.1
Distributor Purchases
2.1.1
All retailer purchases
of Shades Bathroom Furniture from a Shades distributor in the period 1st
May 2009 to 30th April 2010 less the
value of any products returned to, or credited by the distributor in the same period.
2.1.2
Shades Bathroom Furniture reserve the right to verify the validity of purchases
by asking the retailer to provide evidence of any qualifying purchase. The retailer
should provide the requested information within 14 working days of receiving the
request.
2.1.3
Shades Bathroom Furniture takes no responsibility for ensuring the
provision of figures by distributors. The retailer must ensure that their distributor
provides the figures on their behalf.
2.1.4
In the event that Shades Bathroom Furniture
is not satisfied as to the validity of any purchase information provided, it reserves
the right remove the associated purchase revenues from the scheme figures.
2.2
Direct
Purchases
2.2.1
All retailer purchases of Shades Bathroom Furniture directly from
the manufacturer in the period 1st
May 2009 to 30th April 2010 less the value of
any products returned to, or credited by the manufacturer.
2.2.2
In the event that
Shades Bathroom Furniture is not satisfied as to the validity of any purchase, it
reserves the right remove the associated purchase revenues from the scheme figures.
3.0
Star Rewards
3.1
The Website
3.1.1
The Shades Star Rewards website is operated
on behalf of Moores Furniture Group Ltd. Trading as Shades Bathroom Furniture by
The Whole Caboodle Ltd. and takes no responsibility for it’s availability or the
accuracy of any content include the turnover figures.
3.1.2
By registering for the
Scheme and accessing the website you agree to be bound by the Websites Terms of
Use and the Privacy Policy which are incorporated into these terms.
3.1.3
Website
content is restricted to registered participants of the Shades Star Rewards scheme.
Only registered users can access the information contained in restricted areas of
the website.
3.1.2
The turnover information will be updated on a monthly basis and
scheme participants will be notified when this has been completed.
3.2
Reward Calculations
All rewards will be calculated based on the increase in purchase turnover (excluding
VAT) of Shades Bathroom Furniture between Period A (May 2008 to April 2009) and
Period B (May 2009 to April 2010).
Example 1:
Retailer A purchases £30,000 of Shades
furniture in Period A. In Period B this increases to £38,500 and therefore increases
turnover by £8,500 and becomes eligible for a Star Reward.
Example 2:
Retailer B
purchases £55,000 of Shades furniture in Period A. In Period B this decreases to
£48,500 and therefore decreases turnover by £6,500 and is therefore does
NOT become eligible for a Star Reward.
3.3
The Rewards
Table 1.0 outlines the reward structure
for each increase amount. Indicative prizes denote the suggested prize for which
the voucher value will allow the eligible scheme participant to purchase.

Shades Bathroom Furniture reserve the right to amend the details and content
of the reward structure outlined in Table 1.0 at anytime and without prior notice.
3.4
Reward Payments
3.4.2
At the end of the scheme
period (1st May 2009 to 30th
April 2010) participants will be notified of the reward they have attained. Participants
will then be contacted within 90 days with details of how their reward will be presented.
3.4.3
Rewards are only payable at the end of the scheme. No claims for rewards will
be accepted prior to the end of the scheme.
3.4.4
All rewards, except for the Car
will be paid in the form of vouchers to the value as stated by the relevant increase
category in Table 1.0. Vouchers may be specific to the type of prize indicated i.e.
holiday prizes will be paid in holiday vouchers.
3.4.5
Vouchers provided by a third
party will have terms and conditions which apply to any purchase made by the holder.
This is outside the control of Shades Bathroom Furniture.
3.4.6
All rewards are
offered subject to availability.
Should any reward become unavailable for any reason,
Moores Furniture Group Ltd. Trading as Shades Bathroom Furniture reserve the right
to substitute an alternative reward or withdraw a particular reward at anytime without
prior notice.
There is no contractual right to a reward.
3.4.7
Any reward presented
under the scheme must be made to the owner or partner of the trading company of
the retailer. The owner or partner has the right to nominate an alternative person(s)
to receive the reward on their behalf.
3.4.8
Not withstanding any resolution of
dispute rewards will be presented to eligible scheme participants within 90 days
of the end of the scheme.
3.4.9
Participants in the Shades Star Rewards scheme are
reminded that the receipt of an award may give rise to tax liability which it is
there responsibility to understand and address with HMRC if required.
4.0
Termination
4.1.1
Moores Furniture Group
Ltd. Trading as Shades Bathroom Furniture reserves the right to terminate the Shades
Star Reward Scheme without prior notice.
4.1.2
A participating retailer has the right to withdraw from the scheme at anytime prior
to the end date of the scheme, by giving written notice to their Area Sales Contact.
At such time all information and any eligible turnover will be removed from the
scheme and the retailer forfeits any claim to a reward.
4.1.3
Not withstanding clause
4.1.1 The Shades Star Reward Scheme will terminate on 30th April 2009 all purchases
made after this date will not be included within this scheme.
5.0
Dispute &
Resolution
5.1.1
In the event that the retailer disputes the turnover figures posted
on the scheme website they should contact their Area Sales contact detailing the
nature of the dispute and provide supporting evidence to allow a full assessment
of the claim.
5.1.2
Moores Furniture Group Ltd. Trading as Shades Bathroom Furniture
reserves the right to refuse any claim.
